Who We Are

BASALO Foundation is a charitable, apolitical, faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable individuals and communities in Cameroon. Through humanitarian support, youth mentorship, anti-drug advocacy, community development, and talent development, we serve others with compassion and demonstrate the love of Christ through action.

Our Mission

To empower vulnerable individuals and communities through humanitarian assistance, mentorship, anti-drug advocacy, life-skills development, and talent development, while demonstrating the love of Christ through compassionate service.

Our Story

Born Out of Love

BASALO Foundation was born from a deep conviction that every life has value and every person deserves hope. Founded in Buea, Fako Division, South-West Region of Cameroon, the Foundation was established in response to the growing challenges facing vulnerable children, young people, and families in our communities.

We witnessed the devastating effects of drug abuse, poverty, unemployment, broken homes, and limited opportunities. At the same time, we saw untapped potential, resilience, and God-given talents waiting to be nurtured. These realities inspired us to build a foundation that empowers people through compassion, mentorship, practical support, and faith.

Our motto, “If you cannot help a hundred, help one,” reminds us that lasting change can begin with a single act of kindness. Every child mentored, every family supported, and every life restored contributes to stronger communities and a brighter future.

As a charitable, apolitical, faith-based organization, BASALO Foundation welcomes people from all backgrounds. Guided by Christian values, we are committed to serving with integrity, accountability, compassion, and genuine love.
